FAQ:
Do I need to drop clothes off? No! In order to make this event more accessible, donating clothes is not necessary.
How do I drop off clothes? Drop clothes off at The Tare Shop between May 20-26. Our team and volunteers will sort the clothes. You can also bring clothes to the event day of.
How does it work? Show up to the event and take what you need! We will have all the clothes sorted into categories (shirts, pants, etc). You can take as much as you need!
What clothes are you accepting? All sorts of clothes in all sizes!
What happens to the leftover clothing? We will donate all the leftover clothing to various organizations depending on their needs at the time (typically we donate to Out of the Cold, The Abundance Store and Byrony House)
There will also be food and drinks available for purchase!
Accessibility:
Our space is wheelchair and stroller accessible through our entrance off Portland St. There is an automatic door that opens outward toward the street, and that has two buttons to open it – one at 40 inches off the ground and one at 4 inches off the ground.
There is a gender-neutral and barrier-free washroom.
